VICTOR ALENCAR
Brazilian Director of Photography Victor Alencar has built a versatile career over the past seven years, working across feature films, short films, music videos, and advertising. His work is recognized for its visual storytelling, careful attention to mood and composition, and strong cinematic language.

In 2022, Victor won the ABC Award for Best Cinematography for the short film Mas Eu Não Sou Alguém and earned a nomination in the Music Video category. In 2024, he was honored with Best Cinematography awards at both the MVF Awards and the ABC Awards for the music video Fé Nas Maluca.

Victor’s feature film Tire 5 Cartas premiered in theaters across Brazil in 2023. Later that year, he served as Director of Photography for O Lado Bom de Ser Traída, a Netflix release that reached the top ten among the most-watched non-English films worldwide, with 14.7 million views. He was also the second-unit Director of Photography for Caramelo(Netflix) and the Director of Photography for As 10 Vantagens de Morrer Depois de Você, scheduled to premiere via Paris Filmes in 2026.

Alongside his film work, Victor frequently leads workshops and lectures on cinematography, sharing his expertise with emerging professionals. He has also shot international commercials, including projects in Saudi Arabia, and is available for productions globally.

Victor is a native Portuguese speaker and fluent in English and Spanish.
